Copier Service Technician

The Copier Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of client’s copiers and printers. This is a field-based role that has territories throughout the Chicagoland suburbs. A full training program is available, and a company vehicle is provided. Mechanically inclined candidates with strong customer service skills are encouraged to apply.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maximize equipment up-time through timely response and effective and efficient repair of our client’s technology
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Utilize problem solving skills through analysis of data from the client, electronic data and observations.
Communicate and interact with customers, team, sales, management, and administration to understand the goals and meet deadlines.
Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time.
Provide accurate feedback with call close information, parts usage reporting and customer meter readings.
Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Mechanical and electrical aptitude and demonstrated skills
Prior experience in maintenance and repair of copier office equipment preferred. Xerox, Canon, or Toshiba experience a plus
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot and think independently
Knowledge of Basic Networking
Computer and analytical skills
Ability to pass a preemployment background check and drug screen
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. Pull, lift, reach and transport equipment parts and boxes
Must be able to problem solve, conduct written and verbal communication, read and comprehend technical information
Must have valid driver license and insurance (company vehicle eligibility is based off driving records)
