This job may include any aspect of equipment support, including hardware, software, PC's, and wireless networking. The Technician will provide technical support to all bindery and mailing equipment and determine the most time-effective repair/resolution to minimize downtime.Provide service and maintenance on inserting, cameras, ink jetting equipment and folders in the facilityPrioritize issues to resolve urgent incidents in a timely mannerBe available to provide support to the facility outside of regular working hours if necessaryTroubleshoot complex issues with equipmentWork collaboratively with plant and management teams to find solutions to problemsEncourage use of new techniques and focus on fact-based problem solvingRequirementsQualifications:High School Diploma/GED, Associates degree preferredMechanical and technical training a plus2+ years' experience as a mechanic and/or servicing industrial ink jetting/mailing equipmentGeneral knowledge of mailing and print productionAbility to lift 30lbs multiple times per dayAbility to use hand tools and power tools to repair and maintain equipmentAbility to climb ladders if necessary to repair and maintain equipmentStrong attention to detail, problem solving abilities and strategic thinkingKnowledge of Pitney Bowes, Bell and Howell, and/or inserting equipmentBilingual in Spanish a plusWork Environment/Physical Demands:Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours & walk 3 hoursLift up to 50lbsIntermittent bending up to 3 hours.
