As a Pediatrician, you will play a crucial role in both outpatient and inpatient settings, emphasizing a holistic approach to pediatric care. The facility utilizes the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring seamless documentation and efficient coordination of patient care. MANDATED Job Requirements: Physicians interested in this opportunity must be board-certified or eligible for board certification in Pediatrics. Active licensure in New Mexico is a prerequisite, and the facility strictly adheres to this requirement. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory, and the hospital provides online training for Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and STABLE. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive skill set, including proficiency in non-invasive ventilation management, intubation for newborns and pediatrics, conscious and deep sedation, various procedural skills such as central line and arterial lines placement, lumbar puncture, and more. Expertise in interpreting X-rays and EKGs, as well as certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), adds value to the role.
