You work to provide positive counsel and optimal outcomesRESPONSIBILITIESWhat You Can Expect Day-to-DayAs a medical professional, you will provide medication management services to patients of all ages and backgrounds, both face-to-face as well as through telehealth, to do the following:Diagnose and treat various mental health conditionsConduct medication management visits with patientsDevelop a treatment plan customized based on each patient?s needsMonitor each patient?s progress during ongoing treatmentComplete session notes promptlyAssess and refer patients to specialists as neededREQUIREMENTSWhat it TakesWe are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and experienced Physician?s Assistant or Professional Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to our mission of providing patients with exceptional, trusted medical services.Mandatory Requirements:Valid California PA LicenseAbility to render services in Spanish1 year experience in behavioral healthExtensive knowledge of mental health conditions and best practices for psychological treatmentWell-developed listening and interview skills to explore patient needs and administer treatment plansStrong verbal communication skills to counsel and advise patientsAnalytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective treatment plansCoaching skills to help patients make positive changesOrganization skills to maintain up-to-date, easy-to-navigate patient filesFamiliarity with privacy, health, and safety lawsComputer skills in operating record-keeping, scheduling, email, and word-processing softwarePreferred but not required:1+ year as a PA*Fluent in English and SpanishCredentialed with Beacon Health OptionsOUR COMPANYOur Commitment to YouYour success is our success.
