This role will support daily accounting functions, assist in the month-end close process, and contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reportsRole ResponsibilitiesReconcile balance sheet and expense accounts to ensure accuracy and completenessRecord both standard and non-standard journal entries as part of the monthly close processPrepare and post journal entries related to AR, revenue, and cash receiptsParticipate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activitiesContribute to internal and external audit processes by providing supporting documentationDocument accounting procedures and processes to support compliance and operational consistencySupport ongoing process improvements, automation initiatives, and system upgrades or implementationsAssist in the preparation of internal financial reports and schedulesRecord and reconcile billable transactions paid by the management companyAssist with customer invoicing and ensure accuracy and timeliness of billingRequirements & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting required1–3 years of experience in corporate or public accountingStrong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting practicesProficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, formulas, and pivot tablesExcellent analytical and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently while managing deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentSkillsA true team player with the ability to navigate a dynamic, complex organizational landscape Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize effectively and meet deadlineAdaptable and proactive in a constantly evolving environment
