Subsurface Analyst – Urgent Hiring Need

Job SummaryThe Subsurface Analyst will join a highly trained team of field specialists responsible for identifying and designating critical subsurface utilities and structural embeds within concrete structures. This role supports safe excavation and construction activities by providing accurate, non-destructive investigations of underground infrastructure.Sign-On BonusOffering up to $3,500 sign-on bonus for experienced analysts.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform investigative scanning activities on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure job sitesCollect and analyze field data to designate structural embeds including rebar, conduits, post-tension cables, and other elementsLocate underground utilities such as sewer, water, communications, gas, and electrical linesAccurately mark scanned areas in accordance with company protocolsComplete detailed field documentation including reports, sketches, and photographic recordsPartner with site personnel to confirm project scope prior to beginning workCommunicate clearly with clients regarding capabilities, limitations, and recommended solutionsExplain investigation results, safety considerations, and next steps to customersConduct pre- and post-job equipment inspections and report any issuesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentAttend required safety meetings, job briefings, and training sessionsCoordinate daily with scheduling personnel or supervisorsTransport and secure tools and equipment for field operationsAssist with training and development of new analysts as neededPerform additional duties as assignedRequired Skills and QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience in GPR, X-ray scanning, utility locating, or concrete scanning servicesAbility to accurately interpret field equipment data and scanning resultsStrong problem-solving skills and situational awarenessExcellent communication and customer service skillsDetail-oriented with strong documentation capabilitiesComfortable operating handheld equipment and working at heights when requiredAbility to navigate active construction environments safelyCapable of working independently and within a teamFamiliarity with mobile applications and digital documentation toolsUnderstanding of construction or industrial safety practicesCareer Growth OpportunityWe are committed to hiring professionals who value quality, safety, and continuous development.
