Role SummaryThe delivers role-based instruction, hands-on OJT, and certification training across the full assembly lifecycle, including frame & structure build, electrical assembly, mechanical/piping assembly, finish assembly, and test operations. This role ensures every assembler is qualified, certified, and ready to execute against SOPs and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver technical training across Frame & Structure Assembler, Electrical Assembler, Mechanical/Piping Assembler, Finish Assembler, Test Technician, Assembly Material Handler, and In-Process QC Technician roles.Lead advanced safety certifications, including NFPA 70E (Qualified Person), Electrical Safe Work Practices, LOTO (Authorized User), Pressure Testing, and Working at Heights.Train Test Technicians and QC personnel on Electrical Testing Safety (Hi-Pot, Megger), Pressure Systems Safety, and Laser/Scanning Safety.Develop and deliver station-specific OJT for assembly sequencing, torque control, cable management, fluid systems, and final integration testing.Conduct competency validation, station qualification checks, and progressive certification gating prior to independent assignment.Partner with Operations and Quality leadership to address First Pass Yield (FPY) gaps through targeted retraining and upskilling.Track certification status, expirations, and training KPIs (completion rate, effectiveness by role/shift) within the LMS.Required Qualifications5+ years of mechanical, electrical, or industrial assembly experience with at least 2 years in a trainer, lead, or supervisory capacity.NFPA 70E Qualified and LOTO Authorized User credentials.Demonstrated experience reading and training to mechanical/electrical schematics, BOMs, and work instructions.OSHA-10 certified (OSHA-30 preferred).Preferred QualificationsExperience training on high-density electrical systems, liquid cooling, or rack-level assembly.IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 certification.Train-the-Trainer credential.Pay$39hr - $49hr
