Python Developer PositionsInsight Global is seeking two Python Developers to join the Software Engineering team within the Analytics organization of a large healthcare client. The team supports a rebate forecasting platform built for the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) business. Launched three years ago, the product reached MVP status last year and is now focused on expanding functionality, improving stability, and supporting continued growth.The application is primarily built with Python and MySQL, with an Angular and Spring-based front end. The team is looking for engineers who can contribute to both the technical scalability and ongoing evolution of the platform.Key Responsibilities:Python Developer – Data Engineering FocusDevelop and maintain backend services using PythonBuild and optimize data processing workflows using PySpark and Spark SQLDeliver new features and enhancements aligned to the product roadmapImprove platform stability, performance, and reliabilityCollaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholdersPython Developer – Database Scaling FocusLead efforts to optimize and scale MySQL databases as user adoption and data volumes growIdentify and resolve underlying performance and scalability challengesImplement improvements to database architecture and data management processesContribute to backend application development using PythonSupport roadmap initiatives by developing new features and technical enhancements as the platform evolvesBoth positions offer the opportunity to work on a high-impact analytics product that directly supports critical PBM forecasting and business decision-making capabilities.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
