Our end-users are hobbyists, professionals and industrial customers who 3D print high quality parts using our filaments.From our 40,000 SF facility in Missouri City, TX, we currently manage the production, sales, marketing, planning, and distribution of 3D printing filament for the North America region.POSITION SUMMARYLead Plant Technician (Electrical) will primarily perform equipment maintenance and facility maintenance activities on an assigned shift. In addition, the Lead Plant Technician (Electrical) is also responsible for leading (1) Jr. Technician on night shift; including coordination of work orders, materials, supplies, and tools.POSITION TYPEFull Time, HourlyThe Lead Plant Technician (Electrical) reports directly to the Plant Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair 480V 3-phase equipment to minimize equipment downtimeUtilize multimeter, megger, amp clamp, and other diagnostic tools to identify equipment issuesPerform preventative maintenance on production equipmentPerform preventative facility maintenance, including inspection of 480V panelsLead (1) Jr TechnicianRequisition tools, parts, and equipment to support maintenance activitiesCommunicate and escalate issues to Plant Manager as requiredFollow all process work instructionsFollow all company environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standardsLiaison and escort contractors to ensure compliance with company EHS standardsStop work authority - STOPS all work if unsafe conditions are identifiedGenerate and communicate shift passdown to oncoming technicianIdentify and communicate areas of improvementSupport Shift Lead in performing extrusion setup and quality checksKey Expectations:All tools and materials to be provided by employerReliable transportation to and from the facilityOccasionally lift up to 50 lbsWalking, standing, bending, lifting, and reaching are normal expected movements during a shiftPrevious experience working in a manufacturing or refinery facilityWillingness to learn and teach others0% travel requiredLead by exampleWillingness to learn and adopt core values of the companyPreferred Experience BackgroundExperience maintaining plastic extrusion equipmentExperience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic systemsAbility to operate forklifts and/or overhead lifting devicesTo learn more about Polymaker, please go toPI1dd979cc5d9b-2923
