The RoleBrand New is hiring an Account Director to lead client relationships across a full 360 remit. You'll be the strategic and commercial lead on major accounts, responsible for work that spans creative campaigns, digital and social content, talent partnerships, and experiential activations.This is a senior leadership role for someone who can hold the big picture while knowing exactly when to get into the details. Our clients include some of the most culturally ambitious brands in spirits, tech, lifestyle, and entertainment, and they expect a partner who moves at the speed of culture.What You'll DoServe as the senior client lead across multiple integrated accounts, building trusted advisory relationships up to VP levelDrive the strategic direction of client work, ensuring creative output is grounded in business objectives, audience insight, and cultural relevanceLead annual and quarterly planning processes, translating client briefs into clear, actionable scopes of workOwn account P&Ls: forecasting revenue, managing margins, and identifying organic growth opportunitiesChampion the work internally, ensuring creative, strategy, talent, and production teams are set up to deliver exceptional outputOversee the day-to-day account team (Account Managers, Coordinators), mentoring and developing junior talentNavigate complex stakeholder environments with multiple client contacts and approval layersProactively bring ideas to clients: new platforms, formats, cultural moments, and talent partnership opportunitiesContribute to new business efforts including pitches, credentials, and chemistry meetingsWhat You Bring8-10 years of account management experience in a creative agency environment, with significant exposure to integrated/360 campaignsDemonstrated success managing multi-channel accounts spanning brand, digital, social, content, talent, and experientialStrong strategic instincts with the ability to connect creative work to measurable business outcomesProven commercial skills: experience owning account financials, growing revenue, and managing profitabilityExcellent presentation and storytelling skills, comfortable in senior client-facing situationsAbility to work cross-functionally with creative directors, strategists, producers, and talent teamsTrack record of building long-term client partnerships (1+ year tenure on key accounts)Adept at managing competing priorities across multiple accounts without sacrificing qualityDeep interest in culture, music, entertainment, and the evolving media landscapeNice to HaveExperience in spirits, beverage, lifestyle, or entertainment verticalsFamiliarity with talent and influencer partnership strategy and executionNew business pitch experience with a strong win recordNew York / Los Angeles (Hybrid), 8-10 Years | Reports to: Managing Director*NO RECRUITERS PLEASE*At Brand New: A Collective, we value diversity and the uniqueness of all people.
