Our Colorado Springs office is actively seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team.Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team full-time. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for leading the estimating team, preparing detailed estimates for commercial construction projects, and managing design-bid-build projects. This is an in-office position with limited travel requirements.Key Responsibilities:Lead the estimating team in preparing accurate and detailed estimates for commercial construction projects.Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure comprehensive and competitive bids.Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.Review and validate all estimates before submission.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators.Prepare and/or review bid packages and participate in bid negotiations.Monitor and report on the progress of the estimating team.Travel as needed for site visits and bid meetings, with limited travel requirements.Qualifications:Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction estimating, with at least 3 years in a senior estimator role.Extensive experience with commercial construction projects.Strong understanding of design-bid-build project delivery.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in estimating software and tools.Ability to lead and motivate a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.Why Join KR Construction Group:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Work with a dynamic and experienced team.Engage in a variety of challenging and rewarding projects.Benefits:401K plan with employer matchEmployee eventsMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid holidays and sick daysAnnual performance bonusVacation and paid time offHow to Apply:Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume with a cover letter detailing their qualifications and experience to ecantafio@krconstructiongroupinc.com.
