As an Engineering Document Control Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting project documentation and quality control processes. Responsibilities
Organize, maintain, and distribute engineering documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper revision control
Prepare and manage quality control documentation, including weld tracking logs and related records
Coordinate documentation flow between engineers, project managers, quality control personnel, and customers
Submit engineering documentation through client-required platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Procore
Track project documentation status and ensure timely submission of required deliverables
Assist in maintaining compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements
Support continuous improvement of document control processes and workflows
Qualifications
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Understanding of the importance of data integrity
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn technical concepts and systems
Preferred: Exposure to engineering, manufacturing, or construction environments
Preferred: Basic understanding of technical documentation
Preferred: Familiarity with document control systems or quality documentation processes
