Successful outcomes start and finish with eNGINE.Role OvervieweNGINE is partnering with a financial services client to bring on an experienced Program Manager to lead a highly visible cloud compliance initiative. This individual will oversee the development and long-term governance of a secure Azure Government environment supporting regulated transaction processing.This role blends program leadership, cloud security, and regulatory expertise, requiring someone who can navigate complex compliance frameworks like FedRAMP while coordinating across technical and executive stakeholders. The ideal candidate will take ownership of authorization efforts, ensure audit readiness, and establish sustainable compliance operations.ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & ExecutionDirect large-scale compliance initiatives tied to FedRAMP and cloud security frameworksDefine program structure, timelines, dependencies, and success metrics across multiple workstreamsPartner with engineering, security, risk, and executive leadership to align priorities and drive deliveryLead governance routines and provide visibility into risks, progress, and compliance postureCompliance & Authorization (ATO)Oversee the development and upkeep of required security documentation including SSPs, POA&Ms, and supporting artifactsGuide system boundary definition, control implementation, and documentation alignmentDrive readiness efforts for Authority to Operate (ATO) and maintain compliance post-authorizationConduct gap assessments against NIST standards and lead remediation strategiesContinuous Monitoring & OperationsEstablish and manage ongoing monitoring processes to ensure adherence to FedRAMP requirementsOversee vulnerability management, patching cycles, and configuration complianceMaintain reporting on control effectiveness, risk posture, and audit readinessEnsure documentation reflects system updates, architectural changes, and control adjustmentsAudit & Stakeholder EngagementAct as the primary liaison for audits, assessments, and external compliance reviewsCoordinate with third-party assessors and internal teams to validate controls and evidencePresent program status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership in formal settingsSupport training and enablement across teams to reinforce compliance practicesRisk & Issue ManagementMaintain a centralized view of risks across architecture, controls, and operationsEscalate critical issues with clear impact analysis and mitigation strategiesDrive resolution of findings and ensure proper documentation and closureQualifications5+ years of program management experience within regulated or compliance-driven environmentsProven experience leading FedRAMP initiatives, including ATO readiness and Continuous MonitoringStrong understanding of NIST frameworks (especially NIST SP 800-53) and control implementationExperience managing compliance documentation such as SSPs, POA&Ms, and audit artifactsAbility to coordinate across technical, operational, and executive stakeholdersExcellent communication skills, including presenting in leadership and audit settingsBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experiencePreferred ExperienceBackground working with Azure Government or secure cloud environmentsFamiliarity with cloud security tools such as Defender, Sentinel, or similar platformsExposure to IRS 1075 or other federal data protection standardsExperience supporting financial or payment processing systems in regulated environmentsRelevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or cloud security credentialsNext StepsNo C2C, relocation, or sponsorship for this role.For finer details on how eNGINE can impact your career, apply today!
