General Manager
Antelope Hills Golf Club, located in Prescott, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a General Manager. This role is part of the global hospitality‑focused Troon family and requires a driven individual eager to lead a fast‑paced, 36‑hole municipal golf facility with strong community reputation and significant business potential.
As General Manager, you will provide strategic leadership for all aspects of golf operations, guest experience, financial performance, staff development, and community engagement. You will shape the continued growth and success of this flagship recreational destination.
Responsibilities
Prepare and monitor the annual budget, revenue goals, and expenses; generate business volume forecasts.
Monitor monthly and other financial reports and take corrective action when necessary.
Develop, maintain and administer an organizational plan; implement improvements as needed.
Establish personnel policies, oversee human resources procedures, and ensure policies are followed by management staff.
Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop associates; conduct performance evaluations, discipline, terminate, and resolve conflicts.
Directly manage department members and ensure effective orientation and ongoing training.
Coordinate marketing programs to promote facility services.
Oversee care and maintenance of the facility’s physical assets.
Ensure highest standards for food and beverage service and compliance with company standards.
Attend workshops and meetings to stay informed of industry developments.
Maintain reliable attendance and support a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education & Experience
Minimum 5 years of related experience as a General Manager at a club.
Four‑year college degree preferred but not required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Highly organized, efficient, and detail oriented.
Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to coordinate projects, delegate responsibility, analyze and resolve complex problems, and build effective working relationships.
