General Manager
Position Overview
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The GM works with leadership to set restaurant goals and create a plan to achieve them.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of Department Managers, helping them set goals, follow up on progress, and provide coaching to improve their departments.
Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong future team.
Ensure the restaurant meets all standard operating procedures and quality benchmarks.
Maintain profitability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations. A background in quick‑service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is strongly desired. Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
