Position Overview A busy anesthesia group in the St. Louis metro area is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for locum coverage across both a hospital and affiliated ambulatory surgery center. Practice Model Supervision Model (MD & CRNA)Staffing Ratio: 2 MD : 9 APC8 anesthetizing roomsAverage 29 cases per dayEMR: Epic Schedule Day shifts: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM Call Structure Weeknight home call: 3:00 PM 7:00 AMWeekend call: 24-hour coverageCRNA support during call Board Requirements ABA or AOBABoard Certified Required Qualifications Active or eligible Missouri medical licenseBoard Certified in AnesthesiologyExperience supervising CRNAsExperience in both hospital and ambulatory surgery center environments Preferred Qualifications Prior locum anesthesiology experienceExperience with Epic EMRExperience managing high-volume anesthesia programs Key Skills & Competencies General anesthesia administrationRegional anesthesia techniquesPeripheral nerve block proceduresAirway managementSurgical anesthesia planning and patient monitoringEffective supervision of anesthesia care teams Compensation & Benefits $320 $345 per hourTravel and lodging support available
