Content, SEO & YouTube Marketing Manager

The RoleWe're looking for a Content, SEO & YouTube Marketing Manager to own and execute our digital marketing operation on a part-time basis (25 hours/week to start, with room to grow). This is a hands-on role for someone who moves fluidly between strategy and execution — writing and optimizing content, managing our YouTube pipeline, pulling analytics, and coordinating with our video production and web teams. You'll work directly with Raziel and a small support team. You won't be managing a department — you'll be the department. That means a high degree of ownership, a lot of variety, and real visibility into what's working. About YouYou don't just get things done — you make things better.• Detail-obsessed with a strong sense of ownership — you can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball or your cool• Thrives on being the go-to person who just makes things work• A strong, adaptable writer who can shift voice and tone to match a brand• Energized by the intersection of creativity and data — you care about both the words and the numbers• Clear communicator across email and async tools — you keep people in the loop without being asked• Calm under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment• Genuinely curious about AI, search trends, and what's coming next in digital marketing• Collaborative, upbeat, and committed to doing great work — for the team and for the clients we serve• Has opinions about headlines, H2s, and follow-through (we respect that)• Strong sense of ethics and professionalism ResponsibilitiesSEO & AI DiscoverabilityOwn our search and AI visibility strategy end-to-end.• Develop and maintain AI discoverability strategy: query fan-out, passage-level retrieval, zero-click optimization, and content chunking• Create and refine AI prompts (Claude, Gemini) for producing SEO-optimized, conversational content at scale• Conduct technical site audits: redirect chains, duplicate content, robots.txt, Core Web Vitals• Manage on-page SEO: meta descriptions, SEO titles, alt tags, and keyword placement• Update Google My Business and online profiles for local service area coverage across the Peninsula• Analyze keyword rankings and develop strategies to rank across multiple San Mateo County markets• Build and maintain service area pages with locally-optimized content YouTube & VideoThis is a big part of the role — YouTube is one of our most important marketing channels.• Write video outlines, titles, and thumbnail text for neighborhood tours, buyer guides, and market content• Direct thumbnail design with specific feedback on branding, tone, imagery, and layout• Manage video review cycles (V1, V2) and coordinate with production team to ensure feedback is addressed• Handle asset management: broll instructions, missing content sourcing, and editorial clarifications• Optimize YouTube packaging using TubeBuddy for keywords, phrases, and tags• Track channel-wide phrasing and titling patterns to maintain variety and avoid repetition across the libraryContent Strategy & ProductionCreate and manage content that performs — for people and for AI search.• Develop and maintain blog creation protocols for converting video transcripts and client stories into SEO/AI-optimized posts• Write and edit end-of-sale (EOS) emails and blog posts, maintaining Raziel's voice while hitting discoverability requirements• Provide editorial direction on content structure, narrative framing (Problem → Solution → Result), and passage organization• Create social media caption prompts and workflows for listing and content promotion• Oversee the weekly video-to-blog conversion workflow to prevent content backlog Analytics & ReportingTurn data into action — and communicate performance clearly.• Deliver monthly analytics reports (desktop and mobile) with specific opportunities for improvement• Develop concrete action items tied to analytics data and industry business drivers• Manage ongoing website performance monitoring across SEO, AI discoverability, and search visibility• Test and evaluate AI tools for trend insight extraction and annual report content Project & Vendor CoordinationKeep the operation running smoothly across people and projects.• Coordinate with web designer on technical fixes, site updates, and new page builds• Support team members with workflows, AI prompt guidance, and content production processes• Manage shoot scheduling and production timelines for listing and neighborhood content The Nitty Gritty• 3–6 years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, content strategy, or a closely related field• Strong writing skills with demonstrated ability to adapt to a specific voice and brand• Hands-on SEO experience: on-page optimization, keyword research, metadata, and technical auditing• Comfortable with AI tools — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini — and how to use them to structure and produce content• Experience managing YouTube channels or video content workflows• Comfortable pulling analytics data, identifying trends, and making actionable recommendations• Familiarity with WordPress, Statamic or a similar CMS• Experience with AI discoverability concepts (query fan-out, passage-level retrieval, zero-click) is a strong plus• Background in real estate marketing or knowledge of the SF Peninsula market is a bonus — not required• Part-time to start at 25 hours/week, with potential to grow as the role evolves• Mostly remote; Bay Area preferred for occasional in-person collaboration Tools & PlatformsThe right candidate will be comfortable with most of these and eager to learn the rest.
