Industrial Blaster PainterLocation: Onsite Schedule: MondayFriday, Standard Business Hours Pay Rate: $25/hrPosition SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Industrial Blaster Painter to prepare surfaces and apply industrial coatings in a safe and efficient manner. This role is responsible for surface preparation using blasting techniques, coating application, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. Candidates should have experience operating blasting and painting equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRemove rust, dirt, old paint, and contaminants using blasting equipment and abrasive media such as sand, grit, or shotPrepare metal and industrial surfaces for coating applicationInspect surfaces to ensure they are clean, dry, and free of defects prior to paintingMaintain proper surface profiles to ensure coating adhesion and durabilityApply industrial coatings, primers, paints, and sealants using spray guns, brushes, and rollersMix coatings and materials according to specifications and manufacturer guidelinesEnsure even coating coverage and quality finish standardsFollow all safety and environmental procedures during blasting and painting operationsOperate and maintain blasting and painting equipment safely and efficientlyWear and maintain required PPE and respiratory protectionFollow OSHA and company safety procedures at all timesMaintain a clean and organized work areaQualificationsPrevious experience as an Industrial Painter, Blaster, or Sandblaster Painter preferredExperience operating blasting and spray-painting equipmentKnowledge of industrial coatings, surface preparation, and paint application techniquesAbility to work in industrial or manufacturing environmentsAbility to lift materials and stand for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyPreferred SkillsIndustrial painting or sandblasting experienceFamiliarity with industrial coating systems and surface prep standardsExperience working in manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy industrial environmentsAbility to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures
