PRIMARY PURPOSE:As a Massage Therapist, you will consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to exceed guest expectations.Position Status: Part-TimeSalary: Commission BasedLocation: Gold Strike CasinoPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to exceed guest expectations.Follow all departmental policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation policies.Ensure guests are given the highest level of service by providing the most current information and techniques in massage modalities including but not limited to Swedish, Deep Tissue, and related body services per treatment and department protocols.Promote and sell service treatments, enhancements, upgrades, and retail products.Perform other job-related duties as requested.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalent.One (1) year of experience as a massage therapist in a spa or salon environment.One (1) year of guest service experience.CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:* License from Mississippi State Board of Massage Therapy.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills.Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards.WORKING CONDITIONS:* This is not intended to include every duty or responsibility of the job nor is it intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do this job.This position may require strenuous physical activities and exposure to pipe, cigar, and/or cigarette smoking.
