ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSSupports Project Manager in staff meetings, month-end reviews, design review meetings, task force meetings. Participates in Project Status Report meetings.Manages direct reports' performance and is responsible for mentoring direct reportsManages project exit strategyConducts pre-award meetings with all major scopes of work and provides final approval in the development of subcontract agreementsAssists the Project Manager with fiscal responsibilities including final approval of monthly projections, invoices and change ordersIs responsible for project schedule baseline, updates and managementDemonstrates strong construction process and knowledge of building codesEffectively leads and delivers on key project commitmentsCommunicates with the Project Manager, other superintendents, subcontractors and field leaders to ensure project status and any changes are known to all involved partiesSupports the development of team member competencies and skill sets. Maintains regular communication with team members and actively engages in their growth.Is responsible for job set-up, communication, record-keeping and project closeoutIs responsible for the completion of daily logsIs responsible for the completion of electronic jobsite paperwork filingEnforces the details of the subcontract agreements and Attachments A, B and CChairs weekly subcontractor Foreman meetingsManages site, building and interior layout controlReviews shop drawings for conformance to contract and field conditionsManages third party testing and resolution of non-conformanceIs responsible for Architect/Consultant's observation reports and resolution of non-conformanceIs responsible for full implementation of company safety, risk management, quality, environmental and stormwater programsIs responsible for as-built/record drawings and specificationsUnderstanding and review soils reportsDevelops the site logistics plan in collaboration with the Project ManagerManages permits and inspections for AHJsThis position does not have a consistent travel schedule as travel demands will be based upon project pursuits, awards and staffing needs.SKILLSStrong construction process managementKnowledge of building codesProficient in ProcoreProficient in BluebeamProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Knowledge and use of Primavera 6 and AstaRead and comprehend all disciplines of contract documentsUnderstanding of project financesKnowledge of principles and practices of commercial constructionUnderstanding of total station practices for building controlSelf-sufficient and entrepreneurialEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONMinimum ten (10) years of general commercial construction experience requiredCertification & Licensures RequirementsOSHA 30 Certification is requiredCPR/First Aid CertifiedStormwater Management Supervisor CertificateProperly trained in Fall Protection, Excavation, Precast & Steel Erection, Confined spaceAble to pass ICC Class A contractors licensing testCapable of passing background clearancesThe salary range for this position is $ 102,000 – 130,000 and is dependent in experience and title/rank of position offered.Additional compensation such as: Housing, Per Diem, Vehicle and Travel expenses are permissible on an as needed basis as required by project assignment.Employer-paid benefits:Group Term Life and Additional Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) InsurancePaid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) – Colorado residentsShort-term disability insuranceLong-term disability insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramElective benefits:Health insurance with Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options.
