Application Support Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Application Support Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience supporting Oracle RightNow Cloud Service along with solid expertise in PHP development and SQL Server backend systems.Rate Range: $52/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Application Support Engineer Job Responsibilities IncludeProvide end-to-end production support for applications built on Oracle RightNow, PHP, and SQL Server.Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, defects, and performance problems within defined SLAs.Perform enhancements, patching, upgrades, and security remediation activities.Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and release management.Monitor application performance and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.Manage and resolve incident, service, and enhancement tickets in a timely manner.Desired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).4+ years of experience supporting Oracle RightNow Cloud Service (must-have).Strong experience with PHP application development/support.Hands-on experience with SQL Server databases (queries, troubleshooting, performance tuning).Experience in application support, production troubleshooting, and maintenance.Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Agile/Scrum environmentsKnowledge of .NET technologiesExposure to AI/automation tools for support optimizationIf you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
