They are building an AI-native, multiplayer-first documentation and alignment platform-designed to eliminate coordination overhead and replace traditional tools with intelligent, real-time collaboration systems.Founded by a former CPO-level executive from leading tech companies and backed by top-tier investors, the company is assembling a small, high-caliber team to build a category-defining product at the intersection of AI, devtools, and productivity software.What You Will DoOwn frontend-heavy product features end-to-end, from ideation through deploymentBuild complex, interactive user interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScriptDevelop and scale a real-time, multiplayer AI-native document editorIntegrate frontend systems with backend AI services and APIsContribute to frontend architecture, design systems, and technical strategyCollaborate closely with product, design, and engineering leadershipWork in a high-autonomy environment, taking ownership of ambiguous problemsRapidly prototype and ship features leveraging modern AI development tools Ideal Candidate Background4+ years of experience in frontend or frontend-leaning full-stack engineeringStrong expertise in TypeScript and React (Next.js preferred)Experience building complex, user-facing products (editors, collaboration tools, or similar)Experience working in startup or high-growth environmentsStrong product intuition and focus on user experienceAbility to operate independently and take ownership of featuresStrong communication skills and collaborative mindset PreferredExperience building real-time or multiplayer applications (WebSockets, CRDTs, etc.)Experience at both Big Tech and startups (ideal trajectory)Familiarity with AI-powered product development or LLM integrationsExperience with modern frontend tooling (Redux, design systems, component libraries)Strong academic background (STEM from top-tier institutions)Experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch) Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive base salary: $145,000 - $215,000Competitive equity packageHybrid work flexibility (3 days/week in Palo Alto)High ownership as an early engineering hire (team of ~8)Work directly with experienced leadership from top tech companiesOpportunity to build a category-defining AI productFast-paced, builder-led, low-bureaucracy culture
