Marketing And Sales SpecialistWe are excited to announce that we are seeking candidates to fill a Marketing and Sales Specialist position. From day one, you'll become part of a dynamic, collaborative, and customer focused team committed to supporting agriculture and rural communities. In this role, you'll help bring Farm Credit of the Virginias' mission and business strategy to life by partnering closely with marketing, lending, and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You'll play a key role in developing and executing integrated marketing and sales initiatives, while also leading the planning, coordination, and optimization of the Association's events and sponsorships. Salary Range: $68,600-$116,000 (Based on location) plus incentive opportunities Responsibilities/DutiesAssists with the development plans and implements the Association's marketing initiatives for young, beginning, small, minority, and veteran farmers. Collaborates with the marketing team, internal and external resources for asset and campaign development and implementation. Manages the Association events, sponsorships, and tradeshows. Manages the event assets inventory and oversees the development and procurement of new material and promotional inventory. Develops and executes sales and cross-selling initiatives in collaboration with the lending team to generate additional loan growth and promote the Association's convenience products and services. Completes assigned additional tasks and special projects and meetings, including customer engagement events, business plan projects, lead generation, training sessions, promotional orders, market research, member referral, and employee meetings. Location OptionsStaunton, VA Harrisonburg, VA Roanoke, VA Warrenton, VA Culpeper, VA Chatham, VA Lewisburg, WV Bridgeport, WV Moorefield, WV Romney, WV Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field, or equivalent experience. Four plus years of relevant experience in a business environment. Knowledge of lending and sales preferred. Effective project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and develop accurate project time estimates. Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of people and demonstrates excellent communication and people skills. Builds internal and external networks; understands trends impacting the business. Analyzes issues; produces effective, practical decisions and solutions. Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects Has working knowledge of MS Office. General knowledge of the rural communities we serve Driver's license for work-related travel. Availability to travel for onsite farm and branch office visits and training.
