Senior Ultrasound Technologist

Description Under general supervision of the Practice Physician and according to established policies and procedures, operates diagnostic ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of routine & specialized technical procedures. Competency & efficiency in operating various ultrasound machines & probes to achieve high quality images for detailed fetal anatomic surveys, transvaginal ultrasounds, biophysical profiles, specialized Doppler studies, fetal echocardiography, nuchal translucencies, amniocentesis, & other procedure as needed. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an accredited academic program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent program. Coursework/Training: OB/GYN Registration. Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Sonography, Or Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 3 years Perinatal Sonographic experience. Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Fetal Echo Certification. Experience in assisting with the following OB procedures: Percutaneous Umbilical Blood Sampling (PUBS), and amniocentesis.
