HR Generalist
Human Resources Generalist Direct Hire | $30–33/hourWe are seeking a bilingual Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations in a fast-paced environment. This role will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, training coordination, and general office administration. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and a positive attitude.Key Responsibilities Recruit, interview, onboard, and support hiring efforts for open positions Partner with managers to understand staffing needs, schedules, and required skill sets Administer HR functions including:Payroll Benefits FMLA and leave administration Employee relations Performance management Training and development Investigations and disciplinary actions Exit interviews Coordinate quarterly and annual employee performance reviews Promote and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards Manage workers’ compensation claims, documentation, and follow-up communication Maintain employee safety training records and training matrix Coordinate employee Hepatitis B vaccinations and documentation Maintain personnel files, HR records, and I-9 compliance Assist with HR policy and procedure development and implementation Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Update and maintain HR forms and HRIS systems Support front desk responsibilities including answering phones and greeting visitors Order office and production supplies as needed Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish required Previous Human Resources experience required Strong knowledge of:Recruiting and onboarding Payroll and benefits administration Employee relations FMLA and leave management Employment law compliance HRIS systems Experience handling workers’ compensation claims preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities High level of professionalism and confidentiality Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word Preferred ExperienceExperience in manufacturing, industrial, or fast-paced environments preferred Experience supporting safety and compliance initiatives preferred Compensation & BenefitsDirect Hire opportunity Pay: $30–33/hour Full benefits package availableEEOC StatementZing Recruiting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
