Merchandise Planner

Role: Contract Assortment Planner - Global Sportswear BrandLocation: Beaverton, OR7 Months Contract Join one of the world's leading athletic brands and drive assortment strategy that impacts millions of consumers globally. We're seeking an experienced Assortment Planner to support our North American retail operations.What You'll Do:• Develop data-driven assortment plans across footwear, apparel, and accessories• Analyze store KPIs, best-sellers, and slow-movers to optimize product mix• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, buying, and retail operations • Create market-specific assortment strategies using sales data and consumer insights• Monitor open-to-buy and support inventory optimization across retail locations• Partner with retail teams to gather qualitative consumer feedback and market intelligenceWhat We're Looking For:• 3+ years of retail assortment planning or merchandising experience• Strong retail math and analytical skills (advanced Excel required)• Experience with assortment planning systems and line plan management• Background in athletic/sportswear retail preferred• Proven ability to translate consumer insights into actionable assortment decisions• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, or related field• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skillsWhy This Role:• Work with iconic global brand products• Immediate impact on consumer-facing assortments• Collaborative, fast-paced environment• Contract opportunity with potential for extension• Beaverton, OR location (hybrid flexibility)
