This role plays a pivotal part in strengthening adidas’ commercial success across North America by ensuring our most iconic, brand‑defining products are consistently available where consumers expect them—across both digital and physical channels. The position is responsible for driving the end‑to‑end operational processes that enable timely, accurate fulfillment of franchise, wholesale, and Direct‑to‑Consumer demand.Core responsibilities include overseeing system‑driven availability creation, directing allocation strategies, and managing delivery note execution, all while upholding business rules that ensure effective stock sharing at a NAM scale. Through this work, the role directly supports optimized product flow, operational excellence, and the reliability our customers and partners expect from the adidas brand.Success hinges on strong cross‑functional collaboration. The role partners closely with NAM Supply Chain, account management, sales planning, and demand planning teams to provide visibility, drive coordinated actions, elevate process performance, and ultimately improve our key operational metrics—particularly COTA and COTIF.This is a high‑impact opportunity for a leader who thrives at the intersection of operations, strategy, and cross‑functional partnership. With direct influence on product availability and consumer experience, the role is essential to ensuring adidas delivers on its brand promise across North America.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with and support other SCM and other business functions of Product Supply, Inbound, and DC Operations and Account Operations with the aim of driving on time delivery for launches, ensure effective prioritization for launch critical demandWork with stakeholders in Demand planning, Marketing and Sales to understand and ensure key business priorities are reflected in the systemsProvide a consumer and customer-centric service towards business stakeholdersProvide reporting transparency and analytics regarding launch orderbook performance, both actual/historical as well as projected performance to support decision makingEnsure clean and accurate orderbook for product launches, execute mass sales order updates such as rejections and re-dating.Review orderbook correctness ensuring data integrity for SCM systems/processes through sales order maintenanceExecute allocation, delivery note creation and backorder/season cleanse jobs against defined rules, schedule and monitor resultsSupport development of the Franchise framework, collaborating with partners in NAM, other markets and global functionsAct as key tester for all system release changes, keep test-scripts updated and document all processes & procedures in the Order Fulfilment ManualKey RelationshipsMarketingDemand PlanningLocal and Global Category ManagementProduct SupplyAccount OperationsDistribution Center OperationsKnowledge Skills And AbilitiesGood product knowledge and strong interest in our brandsIn depth knowledge of supply chain mechanicsProcess thinkingStrong reporting & analytical skillsOperations as well as commercial mindsetDemonstrating initiative and acting result orientedAbility to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skillsStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work within different cultures and levelsQualificationsA university degree with emphasis in the areas of business, logistics or operationsTwo to three years of work experience in supply chain managementStrong skills in ERP (SAP)/WMS systems & Microsoft Office SuiteFluent in English (oral and in writing)SQL experience is a plusadidas offers robust and progressive medical, including HSA (Health Savings Account) with employer funding or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) options, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, adoption, with surrogate and fertility support, short and long-term disability, and basic life and AD&D insurance, which can be supplemented with employee-paid coverage. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday. The working location of this position is Portland, Oregon.
