Raptor's globally integrated product portfolio supports a school's foundation of safety and wellbeing, including Emergency Management, Campus Movement, Student Wellbeing and Safety Training and Compliance.About the RoleReporting to the CFO, the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will serve as a strategic finance leader responsible for leading and scaling the FP&A function at Raptor as we continue to grow.The VP of FP&A provides executive leadership with actionable financial insights that drive profitable growth, capital efficiency, and operational discipline. This leader will build scalable planning processes, enhance financial visibility across the organization, and ensure capital allocation aligns with the company's strategic priorities.Job Duties & Responsibilities Strategic Finance Leadership & Executive PartnershipServe as a strategic advisor to the CFO and executive leadership team on financial performance, risks, and growth opportunitiesTranslate corporate strategy into financial frameworks, targets, and measurable performance metricsProvide leadership with insights on growth drivers, emerging risks, competitive positioning, and market opportunitiesMonitor global and domestic market trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic indicators to inform strategic decisionsDrive data‐driven decision making across the organization through actionable analysis and financial storytellingProvide decision support across the organization through ROI modeling and financial evaluation of strategic initiativesEnterprise Planning, Forecasting & Financial ModelingLead the annual operating plan and rolling multi‐year strategic plan for the organizationDevelop and maintain driver‐based financial models to support scenario analysis, enterprise forecasting, and strategic planningDevelop cost benchmarking and productivity metrics to guide resource allocation and operating efficiency (e.g., support volume, utilization, bill rates, sales capacity)Partner with business leaders across sales, marketing, product, and operations to align financial planning with operational objectivesPerformance Management & SaaS Growth AnalyticsConduct in‐depth analysis of revenue drivers, customer behavior, and operational efficiencies to identify growth opportunities and optimization leversProvide proactive insights into revenue performance, margin expansion, cash flow, and cost driversDevelop executive dashboards and operational KPI frameworks to provide visibility into company performanceLead periodic business review meetings with executive leadership to measure performance against budget and strategic targetsCapital Allocation, Investment Governance & M&ALead enterprise capital planning processes including prioritization, investment analysis, and ROI evaluationImplement governance frameworks for capital requests, approvals, and post‐investment reviewsEnsure capital deployment aligns with growth initiatives, return thresholds, and private equity value creation objectivesPartner with operations, technology, and product leaders to optimize capital allocationCoordinate buy‐side M&A activity in partnership with private equity sponsorsAssist with due diligence, financial modeling, and post‐acquisition integration managementLead preparation of executive reporting packages, board materials, and investor‐ready financial analysesPrepare ad‐hoc financial analyses and insights for the Board of Directors, CFO, and senior leadershipChampion improvements in financial data management, data quality, and reporting infrastructure across the organization; incorporate AI where appropriateProvide leadership to the FP&A organization, developing high‐performing teams, scalable processes, and modern financial systemsLead cross‐functional initiatives and special projects that support the company's growth and operational maturityQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field12–15+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant leadership in FP&A or corporate financeProven experience leading enterprise financial planning processes in complex or high‐growth organizationsExperience in high‐growth SaaS or recurring revenue business models, ideally within a private equity‐backed environmentStrong understanding of SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn, and unit economicsDemonstrated experience supporting M&A transactions, due diligence, and integrationExperience with large data sets and the ability to identify & communicate key insightsExceptional financial modeling skills and experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insightsExperience with NetSuite and Adaptive InsightsStrong ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensusExperience utilizing AI to increase efficiency and effectiveness is strongly preferredWhat's in it for you?
