Quality Inspector

Job Description The Panther Group is looking to hire a Quality Inspector to support production at a leading manufacturer's Franklin, MA facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:Self-starter able to work independentlyResponsible for supporting incoming, in-process, and final inspections – focus on machined and assembled mechanical componentsVerify product conformance to program specifications, drawings and acceptance testsCapture all inspection data and supplier data packages in ETQ and DeltekKnowledge of test and inspection methodologyAble to properly utilize standard inspection tools; calipers, micrometers, height stands, etcSupport of QMS, AS9100D and CMMI processesSupports assigned programs in accordance with detailed Quality PlansAssure inspection equipment used is calibratedAssist with cable & circuit board inspection as neededRequired Qualifications:Minimum 3 Years experienceExperience working on DOD electromechanical productsCertified in either or both IPC-A-610/620.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applicationsPossess good technical communications and team building skillsMust be able to interface with engineering, manufacturing, program office and configuration managementAbility to problem solve and critically thinkGood trigonometry/geometry math skillsExperience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) IAW ANSI/ASME Y14.5Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience working in an AS9100 environmentRecent experience operating a CMMPay $32 / hour W2 Depending on Experience. #ZREngINDENGCompany DescriptionWe are the experts in Human Capital.
