Performs duties under the direction of a licensed professional and implements behavioral treatment plans. Works alongside clinical professionals to provide a safe, supportive, and trauma informed environment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvides direct patient care and management of children and adolescents while under the direction of a licensed professional, ensuring a positive, supportive, and structured environment. Intervenes and escalates safety concerns through appropriate channels.Maintains therapeutic rapport, unconditional positive regard, and a non-punitive approach with patients independent of patient behaviors.Leads, monitors and collaborates on educational and therapeutic milieu groups for patients per unit expectations.Implements individual treatment plans and monitors treatment progress.Minimum QualificationsDegrees Bachelor of ScienceArea of Study Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Biology, or NeuroscienceExperience Required:NoneEquivalency Four years experience above stated requirements may substitute for bachelor's degree.Licenses & Certifications Basic Life SupportAdditional Requirements License required after hire Must obtain de-escalation training certification, offered by CHCO, within 90-days of hire.Competency NoneSchedule/Shift36hrs FT3 -12s - 0645-1915, self schedule, Every 3rd weekend requirement (Days)Salary InformationPay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.Hourly Range: $21.35 to $32.03Benefits InformationHere, you matter.
