Engineering Manager

*Unfortunately, our client cannot support VISA's now or in the future (Must be a US Citizen or Green card holder or TN VISA can be accepted)*Our client, a growing automotive manufacturing company in the greater Columbus, OH area (North) is looking for an Engineering Manager that has experience with hands-on leadership (teams of 3-4+ engineers), Lean, Six Sigma, automotive manufacturing, Kaizen, etc. (not all mandatory).Position Overview:Leading research and development projects that produce new designs, products, and processes. Then, designs, implements, and refines product development, testing, and manufacturing processes.Manages staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel and measure performance.Implement Lean Six sigma methodology instructing cross-functional teams in adapting to and understanding improvement processes, facilitating Kaizen and Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs), and overseeing process improvement projects.Plan, organize and control all manufacturing, engineering, material and facility activities in accordance with corporate policies, procedures, goals and objectives as defined by Management.Perform Operational Reviews to monitor production costs, product quality and implement appropriate changes.Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies and CAPEX.Preferred Qualifications: (Not all required)Strong experience with hands-on leadership (teams of 3-4+ engineers)Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5SBachelor's degree Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees, and schedulesExperience in automotive manufacturing (IATF 16949, New model launching processes, process documentation, etc.)Offering...Up to $150k base salaryYearly bonus & full benefitsGreat company cultureOpportunity for career advancement/promotionRelocation assistance
