This role will play a key part in ensuring the integrity, accuracy and compliance of Sharon AI’s financial reporting across a complex and fast-growing environment.Working closely with the CFO and broader business, you will help establish scalable accounting frameworks across revenue recognition, infrastructure capitalisation, leases, financial reporting and operational finance processes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex accounting challenges while partnering with operational and commercial teams in a rapidly evolving technology business.What You’ll Be DoingOwn revenue recognition policies across SaaS and usage-based commercial modelsDetermine accounting treatment for capital-intensive infrastructure including GPU hardware and data centre environmentsPrepare and review technical accounting papers for complex transactions and commercial arrangementsSupport month-end and year-end reporting processes with technical accounting inputs and adjustmentsLead audit readiness activities and act as a key contact for external auditorsDevelop and maintain accounting policies, controls and reporting frameworksPartner with finance, commercial and operational teams to provide accounting guidance on new initiativesAssess accounting implications of new products, customer contracts and commercial models prior to launchSupport finance systems and process improvements to ensure scalability and reporting accuracyMonitor and implement changes to accounting standards and reporting requirementsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplineCA or CPA qualified (or near completion)4–8 years’ experience in technical accounting, ideally from a Big 4, mid-tier or complex commercial environmentStrong technical accounting knowledge with excellent attention to detailExperience interpreting and applying accounting standards to real-world business scenariosStrong written communication skills including preparation of technical papers and policiesAbility to work collaboratively across both finance and non-finance teamsProactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong ownership and accountabilityAbility to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsExposure to US GAAP or multinational reporting environments is highly regardedWhy Join Sharon AI?At Sharon AI, you’ll work in a fast-moving environment at the forefront of AI infrastructure and technology innovation.
