We are actively searching for a qualified physician to join our team and provide vital anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures across all age groups. This locum tenens position offers a flexible schedule with daytime shifts and occasional call coverage, allowing you to tailor your commitment while impacting patient outcomes. Diverse Caseload and Supportive Environment: Broad Surgical Expertise: Deliver anesthesia care for a wide range of procedures, including geriatric fracture repair, urology, general surgery (excluding bariatrics), advanced breast cancer surgery, total joint replacements, and all endoscopies performed under propofol infusion. Collaborative Team: Work alongside Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and skilled nurses to ensure optimal patient safety and well-being in the operating room. Streamlined Workflow: Utilize the familiar Cerner electronic medical record system for documentation and patient management. We Value Your Skills and Experience: We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist with a valid and active Arizona medical license obtainable through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). A minimum of one year of experience and current obstetrical anesthesia skills are mandatory. Call Coverage Flexibility: Daytime Availability: This locum tenens position primarily consists of 10-hour daytime shifts, Monday through Friday, offering flexibility within the 7:00 am to 5:00 pm timeframe. Occasional Call: Be prepared to cover occasional call shifts during weekdays (from 5:00 pm to 7:00 am) and weekends (from Friday 5:00 pm to Monday 7:00 am). You will always have a CRNA to support you during call coverage.
