Civil Engineer 3- Land Development

Description: RETTEW, an employee-owned engineering consulting firm, is seeking Civil/Site Engineers for our Land Development design team in Lancaster and Allentown, PA. As a Land Development Engineer 3, you will be responsible for performing and overseeing engineering design and permitting tasks for development projects in the industrial, commercial, and residential development markets. Responsibilities: Performing engineering design such as stormwater and erosion and sediment control design, NPDES permitting, etc., for land development projects. Overseeing the engineering work of junior engineers. Coordinating engineering tasks with the project manager and project team for the overall land development project. Provide training to junior engineering staff. Perform quality control reviews. Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology Minimum 5 years’ experience in traditional land development project engineering and permitting, including stormwater management, NPDES, and erosion and sedimentation control. A PE license in Pennsylvania, or ability to obtain through reciprocity. Strong demonstrated technical, design, permitting and writing expertise. Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Office, stormwater programs (Hydraflow, and/or HydroCAD). Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
