This role involves administering large-scale LAN/WAN systems, ensuring system security and performance, and providing advanced technical support.The ideal candidate will operate independently or as a team lead, handle high-impact projects, and act as an escalation point for technical issues while mentoring junior staff.Required Skills & Expertise: Technical Skills:Strong experience with Windows Server, Linux, and enterprise network environmentsDeep knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture and OSI model (Layer 2 & 3 switching)Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, FTP, etc.)Experience with network security (firewalls, ACLs, VPNs, IPS)Hands-on experience with server, storage (SAN), and VoIP systemsExpertise in network troubleshooting and diagnostics toolsOn call rotation required.Education & ExperienceAssociate degree or equivalent coursework in Computer Science or related fieldMinimum 2+ years of advanced/journey-level experience in network systems administrationEquivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredCertifications (Preferred)Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)Cisco Certified Network Engineer (CCNE)Security or Project Management certifications
