You\'ll work alongside our Applications, Controls, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering teams to design, build and deploy custom automated equipment and solutions for every application, process, and industry.ResponsibilitiesKnowledge of mechanical principles and theoriesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant technologies.Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and equipment.Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices.InterpersonalServe as the technical interface with internal team for assigned projects.Supports an environment conducive to successful team interaction and customer satisfaction.Obtains product and system technical information and keeps up-to-date with current and new technologies.BusinessBuilds relationships at the technical and professional level with I-C Automation\'s customers and vendors.Technical execution of projects.Responsible for meeting project schedules, hour budgets and customer satisfaction targets for own activities in support of the project team.Skills and QualificationsVocational Training and 3+ years experience required; or GED with 5+ years in related field. (but does not require a university degree).Must be able to perform good mechanical and electrical assembly. Must understand the use of all production equipment.Must have a general understanding of the operation and use of key Automation products.Must have a general understanding of PC systems/software, including the production computer system.
