Assistant Professor of HistoryKennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of History in the Department of History and Philosophy with a preferred start date of August 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position.ResponsibilitiesTeaching undergraduate and graduate courses in History. Faculty are expected to teach courses of variable size and modalities, including large class sizesService to the Department/College/University/professional community is expectedScholarship/Research expectations compatible with departmental expertiseRequired QualificationsA Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in History, or a related discipline, is required at the time of hire.Preferred QualificationsResearch and demonstrable field experience which supports expectations for publication in accordance with an R-2 institutionTeaching field(s) compatible with department expertise.
