Position is responsible for creating a classroom environment that develops skills in Family and Consumer Science courses. Duties include, but are not limited to: Maintain and expand current industry partners and work based training paperwork Development lead, and/or teach educational programs which focus on: 1) Utilization of the lab and curriculum 2) Reach compliance on all grant requirements 3) Continue development of industry partnerships for student placement 4) Embedding FCCLA leadership skills into the curriculum 5) Maintain facility resources and update supplies as needed 6) Work cooperatively with FCS department members 7) Use proven, research-based teaching methods for instruction and assessment 8) Develop seamless post secondary transition opportunities for students 9)Supervise students in assigned out-of-classroom activities during the working day Must hold a Career Technical Education (CTE) credential in Family & Consumer Science or have 3 years of industry experience.
