Position Overview We are seeking a licensed in the state of California Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team as a key contributor to our client service and technical excellence. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving complex financial and tax matters, and values building trusted relationships with business owners and individuals. The CPA will lead engagements, review work, provide strategic guidance, and help clients maintain compliance while improving financial performance. What You’ll Do Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and business entities. Oversee accounting engagements, including financial statement preparation and month-end/year-end processes. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal quality standards. Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to minimize liabilities and support client growth. Research complex accounting and tax issues and communicate conclusions clearly. Review work prepared by staff and seniors, providing mentorship and technical guidance. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, responding to questions and building long-term relationships. Assist with audits, notices, and correspondence from taxing authorities. Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and client experience. Support leadership with special projects and firm initiatives. What You Bring Active CPA license in good standing (required). 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or a multi-client environment. Strong technical knowledge of tax, accounting principles, and financial reporting. Experience supervising or reviewing the work of other accountants. Proficiency in accounting and tax software platforms. Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines with accuracy. What Sets You Apart Strong client communication and advisory mindset.
