:Tyler Air is seeking an energetic Residential HVAC Service Tech for their Stratford, CT location. The ideal candidate will educate homeowners based on the audit and sell products based on the findings.*Up to $10,000 sign on bonus for experienced technicians.Summary:For over 30 years, Tyler Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration has worked diligently to meet the ever-changing heating and air conditioning needs of homeowners and businesses in the Southern Connecticut. Tyler Air is a 5-time Carrier President Award winning company.Responsibilities:Services all equipment according to an established service schedule, and company standards and within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location.Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their HVAC concerns.Documents legibly and accurately all work completed according to company policy and submits on a daily basis.Builds and maintains customer relations in the field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company's image.Follows all safety procedures, including following all safe driving habits and not utilizing mobile devices in vehicles.Applies knowledge of products and seeks additional training/education as appropriate.Job Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required5+ years of HVAC Experience requiredD2-S2 license requiredEPA – Universal Certification requiredValid driver's license / clean driving recordOSHA 10-hour Construction Course preferredAbility to lift and move up to 50 poundsWhat can we offer you?Competitive base salaryPaid Personal DaysPaid Holidays401k Plan*Sign on bonus amount is determined by years of hands-on HVAC experience. The starting yearly base salary range for this position is $40-55/hr. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position.
