Job Order Job order - J0626-1406 - Permanent Full Time Job Details Title: Technical Analyst - Application Engineer Category: Software Development/Engineering City: Washington, District of Columbia, United States Job Description Are you ready to expand your core software development skillset and gain hands‑on experience with emerging digital technologies, including cloud services and dashboard development? CGI is seeking a senior technical resource to automate the processes related to CGI's Momentum financial management and procurement solution at a Government Agency and query and report on the underlying database schemas. You will help our US Federal clients improve operational efficiency, while expanding your own skills in development of cutting‑edge automation solutions. This position is located in Washington, DC. Responsibilities Design, develop, and test solutions to automate processes, activities, and tasks through enhanced workflow automation platforms. Identify business reporting needs and requirements to design, develop, and test solutions for 4th Generation language reports, forms, and dashboards. Be involved in identifying ERP issues/solutions as well as write/test User Validation scripts for the ERP products used by the government agency. Investigate business process outcomes for performance, accuracy, and effectiveness in order to influence enterprise product development and customer‑specific solutions. Required Qualifications Top Secret Clearance US Citizenship Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related fields. Experience in Linux, SQL, Python, and either .NET/C# or Java. Past experience working as part of a collaborative team that practices Agile and/or DevOps throughout the SDLC. Experience across the SDLC, including requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support, and maintenance. Must be an adaptable self‑starter, able to juggle multiple projects and organize time effectively. Ability to work well with business unit SMEs, Business Analysts, vendors, and end users in cross‑functional teams. Track record of meeting or exceeding client expectations, personal performance expectations, and achieving project goals. Strong communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with IBM Workload Automation, webMethods, webservices, AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS for Oracle, EFS, CloudWatch), Gitlab, Jira. Familiarity, certifications, and/or experience with BI/data analytics techniques and tools. Experience with ERP and financial solutions. Familiarity, certifications, and/or experience with RPA software tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere). Compensation A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 – $153,300.00.
