MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN- Euclid, OhioPay Rate: Starting at $30 - Depending on ExperienceShift: Monday - Thursday 6AM-4:30PM 4x10s Overtime as neededAs a Maintenance Tech at the Euclid plant, you will be a crucial part of our Electrical and Maintenance team, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. You will report to a Senior Maintenance Manager. Your work will directly affect people's lives!THE GENERAL DUTIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDERepair, modify and install equipment to maintain and operate the facility.Understands basic electrical and pneumatic diagrams, familiar with 12 VDC to 480 VAC electrical wiring or circuits and capable of diagnosing 24/115 VAC control circuitry.Work in confined spaces, on elevated platforms, ladders, scaffolding and roofs.Perform all tasks associated with troubleshooting equipment.CMMS experience.Perform all tasks associated with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.Accurately maintains records and reports as required.Experience RequirementsThis position requires a strong electrical mechanical aptitude.Prior experience in manufacturing and plant maintenance is required.Prior experience as a maintenance mechanic or qualified journeyman in an industrial manufacturing or similar work setting is required for consideration.Thorough knowledge of Industrial production and utility equipment operation is preferred.QualificationsThe successful candidate will be required to perform in a multi-craft environmentHave at least five years of applicable industrial mechanical, positive displacement pumps, mag drive pumps, air compressors, dryers, chillers, HVAC, mixers, filling line equipment, wrappers, tanks, motors, diaphragms pumps, building maintenance or related experience.Secondary skill is desired as follow - PLC and welding.The Successful Candidate MustHave good attendance and safety recordsBe able to work well in a teamRead and follow Work Order instructionsPossess the ability to troubleshoot and repair various plant production and utility equipment (VFd’s, motors, pumps, etc.)Read and understand prints and CAD drawingsRead and understand equipment technical manualsPossess computer skillsHave completed a forklift driver's training programBe able to work in an environment where respiratory protective equipment is requiredOperate various Plant production and utility equipment and associated process control equipmentBe able to work in elevated areas or confined spacesBe flexible with overtime availabilityAccept extended and/or weekend schedules if neededPerform all tasks associated with troubleshooting equipmentPerform all tasks associated with preventive and predictive maintenance programsAccurately maintains records and reports as required multidiscipline mechanical, electrical, HVAC skills and the ability to learn at an accelerated placeExperience with personal computers and common business software packagesEffective communication, observation, planning, writing, reading, basic math, problem solving, and prioritizing skillsAbility to operate a variety of power equipment and material handling devices typically found in an industrial maintenance shopUnderstand and utilize technical manuals, blueprints and sketches to accomplish assigned tasksPossess and maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license.
