Associate, MarketingThe Associate, Marketing supports execution of NEFE's marketing efforts by creating, publishing and maintaining approved content across digital and traditional platforms. The role exists to ensure marketing content is delivered accurately, consistently and on schedule while adhering to established processes and quality standards. This position works closely with the Marketing team and collaborates with Communications to support day-to-day content execution and coordination. Final review, approval and quality assurance accountability remain with the Manager or Senior Manager, as appropriate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Social Media Execution
Create, edit, schedule, and publish organic content across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Medium using approved messaging and content calendars.
Monitor engagement and identify emerging issues, trends, or risks.
Content Creation, Editing, & Quality Assurance
Edit and proof marketing materials for clarity, accuracy, accessibility, grammar, and AP Style.
Publish approved content across web and digital platforms using standard workflows.
Maintain and update CMS content in alignment with templates, accessibility requirements, and brand guidelines.
Conduct accuracy, formatting, and brand consistency checks; ensure approvals and timelines are met.
Support ongoing content maintenance across digital platforms.
Brand Implementation
Apply NEFE brand standards to all digital content and assets using approved templates, visuals, and tone guidelines.
Flag inconsistencies or issues for review by Marketing team members or content owners.
CRM Administration & Support
Use NEFE's CRM and marketing automation tools for contact management, list development, and basic campaign execution.
Serve as a backup for routine CRM functions and support list preparation and content QA for campaigns.
Measurement & Reporting
Compile regular performance reports for organic social media and digital content.
Track and summarize basic engagement metrics for internal use.
Marketing Coordination & General Support
Manage the Marketing Communications inbox by routing requests and tracking responses.
Support campaign execution by preparing and deploying approved content assets.
Coordinate timelines and deliverables with internal teams and escalate risks or delays as needed.
Identify and flag recurring workflow issues or process gaps for improvement.
Maintain organized marketing assets, file libraries, and shared repositories.
Equity and Inclusive Marketing Support
Apply inclusive marketing principles to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and representation aligned with NEFE values.
Support implementation of equity-centered initiatives within broader marketing efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field, or equivalent professional experience that demonstrates the required skills and capabilities.
One to three years of experience in a marketing or content-focused role.
Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, including experience applying AP style to digital content.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to apply quality assurance standards to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and brand consistency across marketing deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience writing, editing and publishing organic social media content.
Working knowledge of CRM platforms with the ability to support routine marketing tasks and serve as a trained backup user.
Familiarity with social media management tools, content creation tools, and basic performance tracking and reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Basic skills with Adobe Creative Suite or comparable content design tools.

Physical/Mental Demands of the Job
Work hours are generally 8:30 AM -5:00 PM Monday Friday up to 50% remote work is offered under normal circumstances. Employees work directly with their supervisor and HR to determine the best work schedule, providing sufficient overlap with other NEFE employees. At NEFE we focus on possibilities not limitations.
