Marketing & Communications ManagerThe Colorado Nonprofit Association (CNA) strengthens Colorado's nonprofit sector through education, connection, and advocacy. Serving organizations of all sizes and missions, CNA delivers high-quality educational programs, fosters peer-to-peer learning, produces resources and publications, drives cross-sector collaborations and advocates strengthening nonprofits and the communities they serve.The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for leading and executing CNA's full-spectrum marketing and communications strategy. This role blends strategy, execution, project management, and cross-organizational collaboration. The Manager will oversee brand management, digital communications, content development, and campaign executionensuring CNA communicates its value clearly, consistently, and effectively to members, partners, and stakeholders.The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on implementer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong project management discipline, and can translate organizational priorities into compelling communications.Duties/Responsibilities:Lead development and execution of CNA's integrated marketing and communications strategy.Plan and implement multi-channel campaigns to promote programs, events, advocacy, and membership.Serve as internal owner of marketing calendar, messaging alignment, and campaign performance.Translate organizational priorities into clear, consistent messaging and storytelling.Own and execute all email marketing, including monthly newsletters (e.g., Nonprofit COnnect), program/event communications, and advocacy alerts and updatesManage CNA's website (WordPress), including updates, optimization, and user experience improvements.Manage CNA's social media strategy and day-to-day execution across platforms.Develop and maintain content across platforms (web, email, social, publications).Ensure consistent voice, tone, and brand alignment across all communications, event materials, presentations/slides, publications and collateral.Produce or oversee graphic design for marketing materials (Canva/Adobe or similar tools).Guide how CNA "shows up" at events and externally.Track and report on key metrics (email performance, web traffic, engagement, conversions).Use data to continuously refine strategy and improve outcomes.Serve as the central project manager for all marketing and communications initiatives.Coordinate across teams to align messaging with programs, events, education, and partnerships.Manage timelines, priorities, and workflows across multiple concurrent projects.Provide guidance to staff on communications best practices.Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants (e.g., designers, media partners, digital platforms), including coordinating deliverables and ensuring alignment with CNA's goals.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong project management and organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrategic thinking with the ability to execute tacticallyData-informed decision-making and comfort with analyticsCollaborative mindset with strong relationship-building skillsProficiency with: Email marketing platformsSocial media management toolsWordPress or similar CMSCanva, Adobe, or similar design toolsGoogle Workspace / Microsoft OfficeExperience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools preferredComfort leveraging AI tools for content and optimizationEducation and Experience:35+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fieldExperience managing integrated marketing campaigns and digital channelsNonprofit sector experience strongly preferredDemonstrated experience managing projects and coordinating across teamsExperience with budgets, vendors, or agency relationships is a plusPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Some travel across Colorado is required.Classification:Full-Time / ExemptReports to:Associate Director of Operations
