API Integrations Engineer

In this role, you’ll design and scale backend systems in Go while supporting active clients integrate to our APIs. This will give you a chance to shape production infrastructure, and help drive decisions at the highest levels of finance and policy.We’re looking for a backend engineer with 3+ years of experience, strong SQL skills, and a track record of building and maintaining production-grade systems. You should have proficiency in Golang or a similar strongly typed language (e.g., Java, Kotlin). Experience with Python, Graph DBs, Elasticsearch, ECS or Terraform is a plus. Additionally, you will get a chance to interface directly with clients' technical teams gaining insight to where their pain points are. From that you will own a backlog of work to improve documentation, simplify or version API structures and develop example client code in a variety of languages.Our technology stack includes: • Languages: Golang, Python• Databases: Postgres, Neo4j, Elastic• Architecture: Microservices on AWS (ECS, managed services)• Infrastructure: Docker, Terraform, Grafana• Data Platform: Databricks (for ML/DS work)As a core contributor, you’ll own your impact—from shaping architecture to guiding client integration success.
