Security Officer

Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to uphold safety and security across our facilities. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, managing access points, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Your proactive approach will help prevent incidents, respond swiftly to emergencies, and maintain a safe atmosphere at all times. Responsibilities Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises Control access by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks or breaches Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies with appropriate action and communication Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access Assist in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations professionally and calmly Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports for record-keeping purposes Qualifications Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is preferred but not required Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable to handle medical emergencies effectively Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Background in military or law enforcement can be advantageous but is not mandatory Familiarity with security protocols, CCTV monitoring, and loss prevention strategies Excellent observational skills and attention to detail to identify potential threats early Join us as a Security Officer and become an essential part of maintaining a safe environment.
