Aerospace/Aircraft Project EngineerAt Intertec Engineering, our Engineering Services span the entire product lifecycle, from conceptual design to final verification and certification. As part of our aftermarket support, we specialize in repair development to ensure continued airworthiness and operational efficiency beyond the certification stage, addressing in-service issues and extending product life.Intertec Engineering is looking for Project Engineers to work on a Supply Chain Expansion project with one of our Large Aerospace customers. This PE will be involved in all tasks related to the technical side of managing and executing this supply chain expansion engineering project.The project will consist of initiation to completion to developing new sources of supply to increase our ability to be production rate ready. Including, providing technical guidance and support to suppliers, assisting them in resolving technical issues, improving processes, and meeting our customers requirements.These are long-term hourly contract roles, and we are seeking a combination of local Phoenix professionals, and Remote candidates.Skills / Experience Required:5 + years of Aerospace experience.Strong Project Engineering experience.Experience working with Aerospace/Aircraft mechanical products.Proven background and experience working with Castings, Forgings, and Machined Parts.Experience working with LOB, and FAIR standards preferred.Experience working as a liaison between our customer and their parts suppliersRoles /Responsibilities:Completion of Engineering Part Assessment (EPA), Technical Data Review (TDR), and Engineering Cost Estimate (ECE).Completion of EPA, TDR, and ECE deliverables as required per the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), unique to each specific part project assigned.Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standardsPerformance to Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Project Engineer owned deliverables, unique to each specific part project assigned.Adherence to Engineering Cost Estimated, unique to each specific project assignedValidating Supplier ability to meet technical requirements defined in the EPA / TDR documents.Completion of deliverable as required per the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), unique to each specific part project assignedDrive supplier accountability to meet the technical requirements defined in the EPA / TDR documents to a committed schedule.Completion of deliverable as required per the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), unique to each specific part project assignedProvide technical guidance and support to suppliers, assisting them in resolving technical issues, improving processes, and meeting Honeywell's requirements.Completion of deliverable as required per the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), unique to each specific part project assigned.Participation in appropriate Supply Chain Expansion meetings and all unique part project related meetings.We are not able to process Visa’s and will NOT consider 3rd party candidates.
