Avimor Academy is a brand-new, high-quality early learning center opening in May 2026, serving families in the Avimor, Eagle, Boise, and surrounding communities. We are looking for an energetic, organized, and creative leader to design and run our School Age Program, including our Summer Camp (ages 5–10), before/after school care, and no-school day programs. Position Overview The School Age Program Lead is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading all aspects of our school-age program, including:
Summer Camp (ages 5–10)
Before and After School Care
No-School Day Programming
This role combines program planning, classroom leadership, and activity coordination to ensure a safe, structured, and engaging environment for older children.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Planning & Execution
Design and implement a fun, structured Summer Camp program with themed weeks and activities
Plan engaging daily schedules that balance play, learning, and exploration
Organize activities for before/after school care and no-school days
Prepare materials and ensure activities are well thought-out and age-appropriate
Child Supervision & Safety
Maintain active supervision and ensure safety at all times
Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements
Manage transitions, group dynamics, and behavior in a positive, structured way
Activity Leadership
Lead games, projects, outdoor activities, and enrichment experiences
Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where all children feel engaged
Adapt activities to meet varying ages and interests (5–10 years old)
Program Ownership & Organization
Take initiative in planning ahead and staying organized
Maintain supplies, schedules, and activity plans
Ensure consistency and quality across all school-age programming
Family Communication
Communicate professionally and positively with families
Provide updates on activities, schedules, and special events
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Team Collaboration
Work closely with leadership and other staff
Support overall center operations when needed
Model professionalism, positivity, and teamwork
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (required)
Experience working with school-age children (ages 5–10) preferred
Experience in camp programs, recreation, education, or childcare strongly preferred
Ability to plan and lead group activities independently
Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills

Full-time position (schedule varies by season and program needs)
Summer schedule aligned with camp programming
