OverviewWe are seeking an experiencedJava Developerto join our team onsite in San Leandro, CA. You will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining backend systems that integrate withAI-powered agent platforms , including leveragingGoogle Cloud SDKandMCP (Model Context Protocol) . While you won’t be building AI agents from scratch, your work will directly enable their functionality through robust, scalable backend services. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services inJavathat support AI agent workflows. Integrate AI agent platforms with existing enterprise backend systems (databases, APIs, microservices). UtilizeGoogle Cloud SDKfor cloud-native development, deployment, and integration. Work withMCP (Model Context Protocol)to ensure cross-platform compatibility and performance. Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and product teams to understand integration requirements. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance for reliability and low-latency responses. Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices. Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and architectural discussions. Nice-to-Have SkillsExposure to AI agent frameworks or LLM (Large Language Model) orchestration tools. Knowledge of MCP ( Model Context Protocol ) if this refers to a specific internal or vendor platform, please specify. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of event streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
