BIM/CAD COORDINATOR

Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting four Critical Success Factors: Safety First! Financial Success. Employee Satisfaction. Customer Satisfaction. JOB SUMMARY Operate computer aided design (CAD) system and peripheral equipment to develop drawings. Draw/coordinate on a large variety of new and existing construction projects based on information derived from MEP construction drawings. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma/GED required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Drafting courses.drafting courses. One to two years technical training. KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES General knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office, Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam. Requires a positive attitude and the ability to orally communicate with internal and external customers. Good punctuation, spelling, and grammar skills. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Create quick actions utilizing the command language of the system to assist in drawing creation. Utilize knowledge of mathematics in the preparation of drawings. Perform routine assignments requiring a thorough knowledge of computer aided drafting system standards, practices and techniques. Develop increased proficiency in system operation with a resulting increase in productivity and learns how to use all software options. Review work order and procedural manuals to determine critical dimensions of design. Calculate figures to convert design dimensions to resizing dimensions specified for subsequent production processes, using conversion chart and calculator. Perform additional duties as assigned.
